| Details: Our client is seeking a hands-on, experienced manufacturing process engineer to support the Manufacturing Engineering function for a facility in Joplin, Missouri. Position will perform in the role of industrial engineer and should have an understanding of interfaces between the current Rockwell Allen Bradley PLC controlled, semi-automated set of equipment and a centralized Production Network. Manufacturing Process Engineer will spend the majority of the day on the floor trouble-shooting equipment and less time with desk design. Engineer will design, develop and debug installation of new systems as well as support existing systems. Position requires experience using and designing tools to improve reproducibility and control quality of product manufactured at this facility. Ongoing responsibilities include but are not limited to:*Design and development, start-up and debug of automation systems for process and industrial equipment using both new and existing hardware and software applications; assist with hardware troubleshooting and repair *Engage in process improvement with the ability to apply the right level of change (simple to complex) for a given scenario *Solve process problems by obtaining data and performing analysis to identify cause and effect and evaluate a range of alternatives *Interface closely with Product Engineering and Operations to ensure product conformance and design for manufacturability *Program PLCs and HMIs for process control and data management *Effectively communicate technical information and complex ideas in support of customers | ||||
